10 Best Mobile Roguelikes You Should Try

Published : January 16, 2023

Mobile roguelikes are a unique, and often overlooked, genre of the video game. These games are typically played on smartphones or tablets, taking advantage of the smaller screens to provide a more immersive experience. They tend to be highly challenging and require careful planning and execution in order to survive.

There are a lot of mobile roguelikes out there to choose from, but which ones are the best? Here are .. of the best mobile roguelikes you should try.

Why is it called a roguelike?

Roguelikes are called roguelikes because they are based on the game Rogue. Rogue was created in the late 1970s and is considered one of the first dungeon crawlers.

It was designed to be played on a mainframe computer and had many features that are now common in roguelikes, such as permadeath (the player’s character dies permanently if they die in the game) and procedurally generated levels.
